Product Review~Ozeri Touch II Digital Kitchen Scale with Microban

I've had kitchen scales before, always with a dial and a very small area to place the food on.  I was always frustrated that I couldn't put much on the scale, and it wasn't very precise.  I was super excited when I received my new Ozeri Touch II Digital Kitchen Scale with Microban.  It is slim and attractive, with some great features:

I am loving my new Ozeri scale, and I've been using it so much!  It is slim and light and easy to store, easy to clean, and easy to use.  I think the Microban is a great feature-did you know that on an unprotected kitchen scale, bacteria can double in number every 20 minutes?  The Microban protection works 24/7 for the life of the scale. 

The results are very easy to read, and you can display them in pounds, kilograms, grams, and ounces.  This scale is a great math aide for kids and adults-we have enjoyed switching between different measurements to compare.  The weighing platform is large-I've had multiple big pieces of chicken on it at one time.  You can weigh up to 11 pounds on this scale!

I've also used my Ozeri kitchen scale to weigh mail, which is very handy.  Included with the scale is a User Manual and a Calorie Guide and US Postal First Class Letter Rate Guide.  There is a one year warranty from the date of purchase of your scale.

Product Review~Ozeri Green Earth Pan

I'm in love.  With a pan.  Specifically, the Ozeri 8" Green Earth Textured Ceramic Non-stick frying pan.  Actually, my entire family is in love with this pan!  Our pots and pans are older, and the smaller ones had warped, so I would have to prop the handle up just to have to bottom of the pan make contact with the burner. 

The Ozeri Green Earth pan features Greblon, an ultra-safe 100% PTFE and PFOA free ceramic non-stick coating from Germany.  There are no harmful metals or chemicals in the pan, and it is completely eco-friendly.  The patterned cooking surface helps food from sticking and makes cleaning easier.

Everything cooks so evenly, and food just slides right out of the pan without a spatula!  The first day I used it, my son was surprised that his eggs weren't burned on one side like normal!  The silicon coated handle is really comfortable to hold,  and I love that the pan is super-easy to clean, just a quick wipe-off. 

Now, my family tries to cook everything in our Ozeri Green Earth pan, but that isn't practical. The 8" size won't be able to handle larger quantities of food. So, we are already discussing purchasing the larger sizes of pans!  We hadn't had any intention of buying new pans, but once we used this pan and experienced the huge difference in quality and cooking experience, we are wanting nothing else!!

We've had the same scale in our bathroom for several years.  We all regularly check our weight, and this scale  has seen better days.  Lately I've been wondering if it is showing the correct weight.  So I was excited to be given the opportunity, through Business2Blogger, to review the Ozeri Rev Digital Bathroom Scale with Electro-Mechanical Weight Dial.

It looks nice in my bathroom!  I have about 20 extra pounds I would like to lose, and I now feel more confident that I have a reliable scale.  I also like that the scale is fully covered with the manufacturer's warranty.  This is a quality product.

 

I'm not the only one who likes our new Ozeri Rev Scale-everyone in the family does!  Its funny how the adults get on the scale with fear of what the numbers will say, and the kids get on thrilled to see that they weigh more!  Below is a picture of my grandson Daniel (my favorite product tester), showing even a 2-year-old in puppy pajamas can use the scale.  He's quite proud of his 28.4 pounds!

Review and Giveaway~Grammarics

I'm excited.  I've been reviewing a great product!  All you homeschoolers, parents, grandparents, and teachers are going to love Grammarics!  Grammarics are pictorial representations of rules of English grammar, punctuation, and word usage.  Reading rules of grammar and punctuation has got to be one of the most boring tasks ever!  Learning through pictures sounds much more exciting!  

My son Chad (10), has dyslexia and is very easily distracted.  But he is a visual learner-therefore, Grammarics is perfect for him.  He and I looked through some of them, like the one above, and he was cracking up!  What do you want to bet he is going to remember- those funny cartoons, or a paragraph in a textbook?

Now, I'm not perfect with my grammar but I do go a little crazy when people make some of the basic grammar mistakes.  This one above (You're vs. Your) is a prime example, along with their vs. there vs they're, etc. So I'm in love with this program!
