Product Review~Ozeri BP01K CardioTech Pro Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor

I have to take my blood pressure regularly due to a medical condition where it can swing both high and low. I've always had an upper arm monitor, which is big and bulky. So I was excited at the opportunity to review the Ozeri BP01K CardioTech Pro Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor, as it is taken on the wrist. The way this monitor is configured, it is less bulky and quicker to take the blood pressure. This is what you receive when you order the Ozeri BP01K Monitor:

Included in the box is the monitor, instruction booklet, storage case, and batteries to get you started. The instruction booklet is very informative, with detailed instructions and illustrations. This Ozeri blood pressure monitor is advanced in that it has measure while inflate technology. This means that it automatically inflates to the appropriate level, instead of a set level as other monitors do. This reduces measurement time, especially for people like me who have fluctuations in their blood pressure. The CardioTech monitor stores 180 blood pressure readings with date and time memory for one user, or 90 readings for two different users. This is especially handy when your doctor would like to know what your readings have been since your last visit. It also gives you an average of your most recent three readings, and alerts you to Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat).

In the picture above, you will see a line broken up into red, yellow, and green. Each reading is classified according to the World Health Organization hypertension guidelines. I like being able to look right over at that line and see if I'm within a normal range. The picture below is of me holding my CardioTech monitor in its case-it is surprisingly compact! I can easily stick it in my purse to use if needed.

My Thoughts: 
My family owns several Ozeri products, and we are very pleased with all of them. They are quality products, made to last, at a reasonable price. Our new Ozeri 360 Oscillating Tower Fan is a great addition to our home. Like I said above-it is sleek and stylish, and only weighs nine pounds. It was simple to assemble the base with the three provided screws. My husband and I both enjoy having air circulating all year round-the fact that this fan is unbelievably quiet makes it more enjoyable to do so. 

The bright, multicolored LED display is easy to read, and there is a dimmer for night. The remote is tiny but powerful-you can be quite a ways away from the fan and still use the remote. There is a little pocket of space on the back of the fan to store the remote:

There are so many great features on the Ozeri 360 Tower Fan, the entire family was excited to try out all the settings! I think the most amazing feature to everyone was the 360 degree oscillation. You can choose from 60, 90, 120, or 360 degree oscillation. Other great features are the three different airflow settings, and the 8 hour timer. The only negative feedback I have is the cord is too short for us. We live in a home built in 1974, and there are only a few electrical outlets in each room. The problem is easy to solve with an extension cord, but I really don't like the look of that. Other than that, there is nothing negative to say about the Ozeri 360 Tower Fan. It is loaded with great features, and looks stylish!

Product Review~Kandle Flex Reading Light by Ozeri

Kindles and other e-readers are very popular these days. I love my Kindle-still love my regular books, but there are definitely great features I appreciate on the Kindle. Late at night, if my husband goes to bed before me, I can't read in bed because the light would wake him up. Ozeri has solved my problem by introducing Kandle (Kindle + Candle).

The Kandle Flex has a new patent pending WideLip (TM) design that attaches to the Kindle (TM), Sony Reader, and other e-readers without blocking the screen at all. It has a fully adjustable flexible neck that you can customize to position the lamp head. It is powered by three surface mounted lifetime LEDs, so light can be distributed evenly without eyestrain or glare. Above is a picture of the Kandle on my Kindle Fire.  It figs snugly, so I don't worry about it falling off.  It also fits on my Kindle's case. The flexible neck is great-you can bend it in any direction you need. The light is perfect for me to read without disturbing my husband. The two light choices -soft or ultra bright are nice too. When I'm done using the Kandle, I fold it up and keep it in its nice pouch. I have used my Kandle frequently and have had no problems with it.  I think the name is super cute too!

Product Review~Ozeri 12" Green Earth Wok

I have had great success with products from Ozeri.  My family loves my Green Earth frying pan, so I was more than happy to try out the Ozeri 12" Green Earth Wok.  This wok is made out of heavy gauge die-cast aluminum, allowing for even cooking and browning without hot spots.  It has an ultra-safe ceramic coating that is PTFE and PTOA Free.  I'll let Ozeri explain why this is important:

Along with being eco-friendly and ultra-safe, this wok has a magnetized bottom for rapid heat transfer on induction stoves, and has a heat resistant Bakelight handle.  With its better non-stick properties, it allows you to cook with half the oil and that makes cleaning it much easier!  

What I Thought: Once again, Ozeri has made a great, quality product that helps me in my life, and helps the environment.  After reading about what is in regular non-stick coating, it made me want to throw all my other pots and pans away!  This wok is not too heavy, and the bottom makes everything cook easily.  I definitely haven't needed as much oil or spray as with other pans.  I especially like Ozeri's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee-what have you got to lose? *Note: There are specific instructions that come with your wok.  Follow those instructions to maintain the ceramic coating of your wok.

What I Thought:  I've had other pedometers in the past, and they have not been as reliable or have as many functions as the Ozeri 4x3motion 3D Pedometer.  I've been very impressed by its accuracy, and love the fact that it can be in any position and still get an accurate step count.  It is so small and slim-I have small hands, and the picture above in my hand shows just how small it is.  The strap is handy for when I don't have pockets, and the night view backlight is great.  With the Ozeri Pedometer, I feel like I am getting an accurate step count, calories, etc.  With past pedometers, I often felt like it was counting any small movement as multiple steps, when I wasn't walking at all!  I especially like the 100% satisfaction guaranteed-you can't go wrong with that!

Product Review~Ozeri Ultra 42" Wind Fan

We got a new fan-the Ozeri Ultra 42" Wind Fan.  It is an Adjustable Oscillating Tower Fan with Noise Reduction Technology that was designed for 5 star resorts.  This is our third Ozeri fan, so obviously we have been impressed with the quality of Ozeri products.  Before we got our first Ozeri fan, our fans were the box-type, big and bulky.  This Ozeri Tower Fan is sleek and stylish-it blends in with any room décor.

Product Review~Ozeri 3x Tower Fan with Passive Noise Reduction Technology

Here in Utah, many older homes don't have air conditioning, and we are in one of those older homes.  We do have a swamp cooler in one window, which works wonders for that room, but not so much for the rest of the house. We also don't run the swamp cooler when its humid. So, when the hot weather hits, we get out the fans.  We have a few box fans that we've had for years, but they are big and cumbersome, and last year we got a small Ozeri fan that we love-here's the post on that fan.  Well, we now have a new fan from Ozeri-Ozeri 3x Tower Fan with Passive Noise Reduction Technology.

Product Review~Ozeri Serafino Double Wall Iced Tea and Coffee Glasses

I prefer glass drinking glasses over plastic.  But there are negatives to glass-breakability (is that a real word?), condensation, and hands getting hot/cold from the liquid in the glass.  I recently received a set of six  Ozeri Serafino Double Wall Iced Tea and Coffee Glasses.  My entire family is in love with these glasses!!  Forget all the negatives I mentioned above, because they don't apply to these glasses!

These 16 ounce glasses (there are other sizes available) are made of borosilicate glass, which is heat and shatter resistant.  They are stronger and more durable that regular glass, and can be used in the freezer and microwave.  The glasses have a wraparound contour that makes it easy to hold on to your glass.  Visually, the glasses are very cool-they have a double wall so the liquid is suspended in the inner wall.

What I Thought: When I first found out that I was going to review a fan, I thought, OK, how different could a fan really be?  Well, when I received the Ozeri Brezza III I quickly learned!  I had no idea fans now can have remote controls-very cool.  Or timers to turn off after a certain amount of time.  But, the most impressive surprise was that it moves not only horizontally but vertically!  It is also SOOOO quiet, and very stylish and compact looking. 

Two days after we received our fan, a pipe leaked under our kitchen sink.  After it was fixed and we cleared out everything in the cupboard, my husband put our new Ozerri fan just inside the cupboard and put it on to go both directions.  That area was dried out in a jiffy!  Next, my youngest son got the stomach flu.  We still had the fan sitting out, and the only thing that made him feel better was to have it blowing right on him.  Nice because it is so quiet he could still watch TV, and we could talk without having to talk over a loud fan.

Product Review~Ozeri WeightMaster II Digital Bathroom Scale

At  my house, a few of us are working on dropping some extra pounds, so I was very excited to be able to review the Ozeri WeightMaster II 440 lbs Digital Bathroom BMI Scale .  This scale has got so many great features!  


Each time you get on, the scale displays your weight, BMI, and weight change since your last weigh-in! It tracks your weight with a 30 day memory for up to 8 unique users.  The color changes to red if you've gained weight, and green if you've lost weight.  This has been super helpful and easy for us to keep track of how we are doing in our weight-loss efforts.
