My Thoughts: A Heart's Betrayal was an exciting story! I think this may have been my favorite of the four novellas I have read so far from the Journey of the Heart series. With the introduction of Emmie, a new character is introduced who is innocent and emotionally wounded. The characters have to move to a different fort, which is a dangerous trip, especially for a pregnant Sarah. At only 96 pages, this is a quick read. I had a hard time putting it down, so I read it in one sitting. I'm itching to get my hands on the next installment of the Journey of the Heart series, A Heart's Promise!
