Children's Book Review~The Night Horses

The Night Horses is a delightful children's story by Anaka Jones, who is only twelve years old.  It is  26 pages in length, with just one or two sentences in large print per page.  My youngest son, Chad (10) used to
adore horses when he was younger, so I thought  he would like it.  At first glance, he said it was too babyish.  Next thing I know he was in his room reading it, and came out to admit that he liked it.  He's read it several times since.

The surprise was my grandson Daniel, who is just 18 months old.  He fell in love with The Night Horses and kept bringing it to me to read. He loves the illustrations, and I have to agree-they are great! The story and illustrations are fun, bright, and playful.  The storyline is a cute tale of what fun the horses have at night when noone is watching.

*Disclosure: I received this book free in exchange for my honest review.
