The Bible in 90 Days-Day 63!

Wow!  I have read more than 2/3 of the Bible since January!!!  That is so incredible!  I have been a Christian for many years and have never read all the way through the Bible, and now I'm doing it in three months!  I hoped I would stick with it, but really wasn't sure, with my illness and all that life seems to throw at me/us/everyone.  It has been a great experience.  I just started reading Daniel.  I've enjoyed the prophets, but I'm excited to get into the New Testament.

I would definitely suggest this program to anyone interested.  It is a lot of reading, seven days a week, and always seems to be on my mind, but it's a good subject to have on your mind, right?  I really feel as if I'm retaining the information and putting it all together much better than when I have tried the Bible in One Year plans.  The way the program is set up with the teams is great, so you can be encouraging others and be encouraged by others who are going through it with you.  It sure makes you realize that you can find the time to read when you set a goal like this! 27 days to go!!

I'm curious Athena, How long are you devoting to your study time each day?
I have never read the entire Bible, and would like to do this, however, at this stage in life I have to be careful what I commit to!

Hi Kerry! I'm not devoting a set amount of time, rather I have a schedule that breaks down how much you have to read each day to finish in 90 days. I haven't strictly followed it, but I would say it generally takes me 1-1 1/2 hours per day, 7 days a week. This is purely reading, not deeply studying, cross-referencing, etc. You can check out biblein90days.org or momstoolbox.com for more info. They do the program 2x a year, Spring and Fall I believe. You have a team you are on with a leader; they try to put like people together-I am with lots of homeschool moms! Or, you can actually buy a 90 day bible where it is broken up Day 1, Day 2, etc. I don't know what version it is but it is at the first website I listed. It's been a great experience and has shown me that I really did have the time to get into God's word every day! Now I think it would be nice to do a longer one, like a 1 year plan so I could study/delve into the scriptures more.
